Greetings CHS Class of 1980.  Nobody has mentioned the big 30 yet.  Planning should be about 6 months in advance to get a turn out.  It’s already late.  That would now be about October.

If no one takes initiative, lets just announce 08/October as the week end.  That's CHS Homecoming.  Everyone can make his/her own air/hotel arrangements.  Maybe crash at an old friend's house who is still local to save $ and do it cheap.  We can descend on Homecoming Friday evening, and then congregate at the McDonald's parking lot afterwards like 30 years ago. [No booze this time - being over 18 an arrest can be serious  ;)    ]

Saturday night, just tell everyone to meet for dinner, like at Canaveral Pier--make their own reservations, no special menu, make reservs weeks in advance so we can corner as many seats as possible--several bars on the pier for afterwards.

Sunday, just show up at Kawanis Island for grilling.  Tell everyone to bring their own.  This way sounds like a recession-proof reunion--kind of a BYOB reunion!

Another date would to be to bring everyone in for a 16/Sept shuttle launch finale'--that would be the entertainment.  This is a tough call for tough times.  Looks like it’s going to have to be a loose arrangement.
